Salvatore ‘The Maestro’ Calabrese, owner of Salvatore’s at the Playboy Club London on 14 Old Park Lane in London, England, pours precious liquor into a cocktail glass to create the most expensive drink in the world dubbed ‘Salvatore’s Legacy’ on October 11, 2012.
Calabrese created the drink in a bid to usurp the current Guinness World Record holder for
the most expensive cocktail which is served at the Skyview Bar inside the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Calabrese’s drink is made up of a blend containing 1770 Kummel Liqueur, 1860 Dubb Orange Curacao, 1778 Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac, and two splashes of 1900 Angostura Bitters for the price of 6,800 euros or US$8,792 per serving.
